Llegó el día, nadie lo previó, nadie lo suponía, hoy todos murieron.
CURIOSAMENTE
Un intenso dolor de cabeza, acompañado del usual pensamiento de no saber dónde estás cuando despiertas, el hecho es que aquí estoy, grabando con mi celular todo lo que me pueda servir como prueba, cualquier cosa que me haga descubrir por qué estoy tirado en el piso y en ropa interior.
Me levanto, una luz tenue ilumina el tétrico cuarto, apunto la cámara del celular, pero no se ve nada, acostumbro mis ojos a la oscuridad, cada vez es más claro, pero no reconozco el lugar, intento caminar hasta lo que un hilo de luz me anuncia ser la puerta, un mal paso me hace tropezar, el celular cae , el suelo esta húmedo y resbaladizo, hay algo aquí, debe ser basura, o un animal muerto pues huele horrible, intento encontrar el teléfono, pero la pantalla se ha apagado.
Un estremecedor sentimiento de horror invade mi cuerpo, al ver el mutilado cadáver de un niño, pareciera que una bestia hubiera descargado toda su furia en él, poco me importa un teléfono celular ahora, cuando salga contaré todo lo que pasó me crean o no, nervioso, me levanto, hay más cuerpos tirados en el piso, a todos se les han roto los huesos de los pies y manos, debe ser por eso que no han podido abrir lo que a lo lejos parece ser una puerta , con la esperanza de que así sea, llego hasta ahí, pero la puerta está cerrada.
A lo lejos un ruido me anuncia que alguien viene, me alejo de la puerta, el sonido de la llave me hiela la sangre, poco a poco la luz entra al cuarto, frente a mí se presenta el ser más repulsivo que haya visto en mi vida, un despojo de ser humano, delgado hasta los huesos, porta un mandil de plástico ensangrentado que le llega hasta los pies, en su abominable cara se dibuja una desdentada sonrisa al verme, el hombre entra al cuarto, un olor nauseabundo lo invade, se acerca a uno de los niños y con un machete oxidado corta una de las piernas del pequeño, sin pensarlo, salgo corriendo, al hombre no le causa sobresalto mi huída y se queda parado.
Corro hasta unas escaleras, descubro que estaba en el sótano, parece una casa muy antigua, oigo unos quejidos, enfurecido el hombre me persigue, es un pasillo muy largo, ya casi lo logro, llego a la puerta, giro la perilla y… siento un impacto en el cuello, me duele la cabeza, caigo, curiosamente, por un mínimo instante pude ver mi cuerpo decapitado, siendo jalado por ese despreciable ser, ahora todo se nubla.
Despierto, todo era una pesadilla, ese relajante sentimiento después de un mal sueño, respiro más tranquilo, sin embargo me encuentro en el mismo sótano, con un machete oxidado en las manos, un hombre sale corriendo frente a mis ojos, un celular suena ante mis pies, lo recojo, creo que ahora sí lo grabaré todo.

UN JUEGO DE CARTAS

Los periódicos del sábado 16 de abril de 1994 no anuncian mucho, unos muchachos se mataron, algo de una crisis, y los chismes de siempre.

UN ALMA
Dicen que hay veces que tu alma está en el cuerpo de otra persona, dicen también, que hay veces que el alma que posees le pertenece a otro ser humano, hay quien cuenta que a veces las almas se intercambian de cuerpo e intentan encontrarse en el camino, pero me da tristeza pensar en los que pasan la vida buscando su alma en el cuerpo equivocado.

Odio a la gente que conduce muy despacio, también odio tener cinco dedos en las manos y cuatro en los pies, no puedes tejer y comer sopa a la vez, además creo que también odio mi vida. Qué no se dan cuenta que es tarde, salgo de la casa, corro, a lo lejos hay un hombre, le preguntaré la hora, mi celular, se me debe haber olvidado en casa, corro de vuelta, abro la puerta de la casa, no hay nadie, entro al cuarto, mi celular está en el buró, lo tomo, está a pagado, lo enciendo la ansiedad hace que caiga de mis manos, está deshecho, un sonido, el tic tac de un reloj sin manecillas anuncia una hora, debe ser muy tarde, la alarma del celular me despierta, la voz de mi esposa me anuncia que se nos hace tarde.
SE LO TRAGÓ LA TIERRA

Todo iba de maravilla para Carlos, el cabrón pensaba irse con todo el dinero de la gente, vivía en una casa muy bonita, cerca de la capital, se había casado una vez, pero se separó porque ya no se llevaban bien, había muchos pleitos, Patricia quería hijos y Carlos no, ella decidió irse con su familia a Puebla y Carlos se quedó con la casa, o algo así cuentan por acá.
Una noche vi que se subió a un taxi y nadie volvió a saber se él, según la policía ningún taxi afirmó haber llevado a Carlos Ramírez esa noche, unos dicen que los que se dieron cuenta del fraude lo secuestraron y mataron, otros dicen que sus compas narcos lo llevaron hasta la frontera en ese taxi, pero pa mí que no hay de otra, se lo tragó la tierra.
