A lo lejos un ruido me anuncia que alguien viene, me alejo de la puerta, el sonido de la llave me hiela la sangre, poco a poco la luz entra al cuarto, frente a mí se presenta el ser más repulsivo que haya visto en mi vida, un despojo de ser humano, delgado hasta los huesos, porta un mandil de plástico ensangrentado que le llega hasta los pies, en su abominable cara se dibuja una desdentada sonrisa al verme, el hombre entra al cuarto, un olor nauseabundo lo invade, se acerca a uno de los niños y con un machete oxidado corta una de las piernas del pequeño, sin pensarlo, salgo corriendo, al hombre no le causa sobresalto mi huída y se queda parado.
Corro hasta unas escaleras, descubro que estaba en el sótano, parece una casa muy antigua, oigo unos quejidos, enfurecido el hombre me persigue, es un pasillo muy largo, ya casi lo logro, llego a la puerta, giro la perilla y… siento un impacto en el cuello, me duele la cabeza, caigo, curiosamente, por un mínimo instante pude ver mi cuerpo decapitado, siendo jalado por ese despreciable ser, ahora todo se nubla.
